Applications

This sensor measures wind direction in outdoor environments, with a measurement range of 0–359 degrees relative to true north. The instrument can be used in fields such as environmental protection, meteorology, agriculture, forestry, water conservancy, construction, scientific research, and education.

How It Works

The device uses an internal Hall-effect angle sensor. A low-inertia, lightweight metal wind vane is used to detect wind direction. When the wind direction changes, the tail fin rotates, causing the magnet on the shaft to rotate via the shaft rod, thereby generating a varying voltage signal.
